To get your website on the internet you need a Web Host - a company that provides space on a server they own or rent, typically in a data centre.
Our websites are hosted on a server in a UK data centre. Being in UK, websites hosted from there are likely to rank more highly in Google search of UK Pages than sites hosted in data centres abroad (many UK companies host on servers in USA and Germany).
Our hosting arrangements include:
- Email/WebMail Mail Boxes (POP3 or IMAP): Unlimited
- Junk Mail Filters: Unlimited
- Domain name
- More….
Hosting and maintenance: you need do nothing except send us text and photos - we’ll organise domain, hosting, changes to text & photos and search engine optimisation. Cost £95 per annum for websites up to 10 pages. It will be the subject of a separate negotiable charge If:
- your website is larger or
- needs re-design or
- needs special search engine optimisation (SEO) work
Hosting only: we’ll sell you some hosting space and you do the rest. You look after changes and additions to text, photos etc. You, or your assistant, will need to be computer savvy for this. Cost £30 per annum including .uk domain name rental. (£10 per annum extra if unique IP address is needed; £5 extra for non-uk domain.)
But simply getting your website hosted and live on the internet on its own won't be enough to bring customers to your accommodation: you need your website to work for you - it needs to get found by the search engines.
